Granville Stray: The Accord! That car has the highest resell value and reliability, that is proven in car reports year after year. The good thing to is you can easily find parts for the car now. I have a 99 and even though I bought a new car, I can't part! The work I have had done on it was nothing out of the norm and cost the same as any other car. I have yet to get charged something different than the next person. Great car and at least you can get back close to the amount you spent on it. The other two don't have such a great reputation....Show more
Zulema Baccam: That's a lot of mileage..... Best thing would be to take it to a qualified and TRUSTED mechanic/shop and ask them to check the car out - a thorough inspection....Check out used car reports on places like Edmonds.com or Yahoo autos or MSN autos.... if the car has been well maintained and taken care of, you should be fine.... but, also remember that there are a lot of miles on there.... so you're boun! d to have things more apt to break down with/due to their age.......Show more
Claudio Drullard: Three reasons I would not buy this car:1. You have an exhorbetant amount of miles on it for the type of commuting you are going to be doing and for 1500 you can find much better choices.2. American cars are not known for long term trouble free like the japanese cars3. You do not know the history on this vehicle to be depending as you will on it.4. The engine is not neccessarily the problem I would worry about transmission on a chrysler with that many milesThis is not to say an american ( Chrysler) will not last, I have seen many cars last much longer, but they do require that the maintenance have been kept up with, the other fact is that the car you are speaking of is a 500.00 trade in car at best!...Show more
Gladys Worthing: I would not buy any used dodge with that many miles. It could last a long time but you don't really know how well it was taken care of.
