Vickie Clampett: Never completely trust election polls- they only take the opinions of a segment of the population and some of the people taking the poll could be lying or might change their mind once they get to the election booth. I say wait till the REAL election day, then we'll see how people really feel.
Theresia Fashaw: the polls that aren't politically motivated are hard to find.i hear all the time how obama is way ahead in pa.but living here and seeing the pa polls has it even. and has been that way for over a month.why else is there a ad a minute from both?
Trena Berum: Polls have been notoriously wrong in the past. Don't rely on them. I am a little cynical. I think these polls are flawed and self serving. Just go out and vote and never mind the polls. Gore was up by 5 points in the 2000 election on election day and look what happened.

Joesph Smithmyer: They can be fairly accurate, but have been known to be way off base at times. For a pretty darn accurate view, check out InTrade.com. It is a site where people buy and sell shares of the likelyhood of an event occuring. They have predicted outcomes of elections with amazing results.

Jesse Pirieda: obvouisly a lot has changed in a month and therefore those polls are no longer reliable, these companies are paid based on how accurate their polls are,they are normally accurate, they have expert statiticians crunching the numbers and selecting the sample.it is odd however to see two different polls - one showing obama up 2 and the other showing obama up 12, makes you wonder.a common myth is that the 2004 polls showed kerry leading,! this is not true.
