My insurance company will not renew my car insurance as I had 2 accidents. What do I do now?

Emile Midgley: you consider a high risk driver ,call around ,some will take you but your payments will be much higher..

Chanda Wittwer: You can shop other agents, there is a chance that someone will pick you up. If all else fails, most states that require insurance will have an "assigned risk" plan. Expect to pay rather high rates for a while. You can start with this link:http://insurance.freeadvice.com/insurance_help.php...

Eldridge Rieves: apply at other companies. If you are turned down, remember that some companies have "high risk" insurance you can buy. It costs more but it does protect you. If you are in a state where American Family Insurance Co, of Madison, Wi. does business, they have a policy for high risk called "American Standard". Ask them about it

Blaine Connett: Holy cow...you're about as screwed as screwed can get. Your former insurance company won't cover the accident. And frankly, you'll be lucky if they even issue you another po! licy for your next car - you might be considered too high risk after causing an accident while uninsured. One would think that a person who knew they were driving uninsured would be extra cautious so as not to cause an accident. (You shouldn't drive without insurance at all, of course...but you'd think you'd be extra careful if you had to do so. Not fall asleep behind the wheel.) I wouldn't even know where to begin to tell you how to make this situation right. Good luck with that. And, I guess the silver lining is that you're still alive. If you fell asleep behind the wheel, you could have easily killed yourself or someone else. At least be thankful that didn't happen....Show more

Robt Heemstra: Im not sure if your a new driver of one thats been on the road for a while. There are insurance companies that will insure high risk drivers. If I had you age and where you are from it may help me identify where you can get coverage. Also the high risk pool if your a driver w! ith only 2 or 3 years experience is going to cost you big time! . Especially if your under 21. Age and your location would be helpful....Show more

Samara Siewers: Hi,Good post. I had some problems with my car after I had an accident. My Insurer wanted to raise my rates $525 a year! I've never even gotten a speeding ticket! I looked for a new provider and found this website:http://www.jppst.comThey compare all of the major insurance providers and give you the best deal. I ended up saving over $300 from what I was previously paying (that's $825 a year!).Good Luck...Show more

Sang Hanafin: there are companies all over the place that will insure you. they are going to just charge you a higher rate. call an independent agent in your area, they can help you.

Linwood Mccory: If you're able to before shopping for new insurance, enroll in an adult driver's education course. As you are taking the course shop for new insurance both via phone and online. By enrolling in the refresher course, you project yourself as a bett! er risk since you are trying to improve your driving record and habits through education. I'm not going to say that this will be easy or innot cheap, but you've certainly got quite a bit of work cut out for yourself in this regard. Quite frankly it sounds as if you were either the cause of two horrific accidents or had a lousy insurance company to begin with. Things will improve from here... :-) Hope this helps and good luck.I've bookmarked this site to go back to...http://www.surveyland.org/jump.php?link=insuranceAll the best to you....Show more

Dexter Gold: You'll have to go get non-standard insurance or "high-risk." Just check around at other companies as pretty much everyone offers a non-standard program.

Donnell Mollo: SAFE AUTO! give them call or look up internet?
