Stevie Kizziar: No it is not common. They donate to established non profits. Depending on what you are doing, I have seen non profits donate to small businesses that generate job opportunities and provide a critical service to the local area. It really depends on what industry you are in. Grants and such are reserved for manufacturers, hospitals, and other business that really changes the opportunities for middle and lower class families.
Bethanie Menden: It generally doesn't work that way. You'd have more luck talking with your local SBA office or SCORE office about where to get angel investors and grants.
